Explain the significance of BOD

Explanation:

The full form of BOD is Biological Oxygen Demand. It means the demands of bio chemical oxygen. The amount of oxygen needed to decompose the organic matters in water in presence of air is known as BOD of that water. The water that has less BOD value is a pure one.
