As the world population and per capita income increases so does the demand for the for energy rises.
Energy is considered to be an economic good capable of improving the living standards of people. But it is sometimes associated being a bad economic good. But in reality the energy itself is quite useful however the pollution which comes from energy generation can be harmful to the society.
Therefore, energy if used wisely brings a lot of benefits and prosperity to the overall society. As it is being used in all the sectors be it transport, domestic, industrial and even the service sector. In order for the developing countries to grow and prosper energy, should to be consumed and utilised at a commercial level. As higher income enables a transition to much better improved forms of energy. Better energy provision than leads to more economic development as it creates more jobs.
