The significance of a chemical formulas are :-Formula represents the name of a substance.
Formula represents one molecule of substance.
Formula represents 6.022*1023(one mole) of  molecules of a substance.
Formula represents the name of the elements present in it.
Formula gives the no. of atoms of each element present in one molecule of the substance.
Formula represents a definite mass of the substance (i.e. the mass of the substance in  grams)
