Azimuthal quantum no. Tells about the shape and size of orbital. It is also known as subsidiary or Angular momentum quantum no.
Orbital Angular momentum = root over l(l+1)h/2 pi

For n=2 l=0 or 1
M spin only = root over n(n+2)

Hii!!

The azimuthal number is a quantum number for an atomic orbital that determines its orbital angular momentum and describes the shape of the orbital. The azimuthal quantum number is the second of a set of quantum numbers which describe the unique quantum state of an electron.

The possible values of l and ml for n = 2 is

For n = 2
l = 0 , 1

For l = 0, m = 0

l = 1, m = – 1, 0, 1

hope it helps
