When Yudhisthira lost everything one by one, he went on to put his brothers at stake, and lost them too. Then, he put himself and lost again. Now all the Pandavas were like slaves to Duryodhan. Duryodhana insisted Yudhisthira that he still has Draupadi with him and if he wishes to put Draupadi at stake, if he wins this round, he can take back everything that he lost before. Like Yudhistira, Duryodhana too put his wife Banumati at stake. Addicted to the game, Yudhishtira puts Draupadi and lost to Shakuni.
Draupadi heard of the incident and question them that how come Yudhisthir can put her at stake when he already lost himself. She refuses to appear in court. Duryodhan orders Dushasan to drag her at court. Dushasan drags her by her hair and brings her to court. Draupadi questions everyone in the court, about how Yudhistira can place herself as bet morally and legally. Duryodhana's evilness continues.. At this time Vikarna stood for Draupadi and said Yudhisthira has no rights to put Draupadi at stake. Later, Karna stood for Duryodhan and answered that Draupadi belongs to Yudhishtira just like his brothers and technically Duryodhana won the game.
