Symptoms of gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding may include

black or tarry stool

bright red blood in vomit

cramps in the abdomen

dark or bright red blood mixed with stool

dizziness or faintness

feeling tired

paleness

shortness of breath

vomit that looks like coffee grounds

weakness

Acute bleeding symptoms

You may go into shock if you have acutebleeding. Acute bleeding is an emergency condition. Symptoms of shock include

a drop in blood pressure

little or no urination

a rapid pulse

unconsciousness

Chronic bleeding symptoms

You may develop anemia if you have chronicbleeding. Symptoms of anemia may include feeling tired and shortness of breath, which can develop over time.

Bleeding is also known as haemorrhage. Bleeding means blood loss from the body.Bleeding is of two types internal bleeding and external bleeding.

In internal bleeding blood is loss out from the damaged organ or blood vessel. In external bleeding blood is loss out through the damage or cut in the skin or through Mouth, nose,rectum etc.
External bleeding is easily recognised.

Signs and Symptoms of bleeding may varies according to the location:
•Low blood pressure
•Increase in the heart rate
•Cool, pale ,sweaty skin
•Feeling Unconsciousness
•In severe cases of heavy bleeding death within seconds
•shortness of breath
•confusion
•dizziness
•vomiting
•hazy vision
