Differences : 1) Sodium Hydroxide is strong base dissociates to form Na⁺ and OH⁻ ion. While Calcium oxide added water to form Calcium Hydroxide which further dissociates. ... 3) NaOH, CaO should be added to water gradually with constant stirring.
