The poem is about the conversation between a snail and a tortoise. ... But than the tortoise consoles the snail by saying that we need not try to defeat the hare today. what is rare today is not relaxing and being in hurry..

SLOW NOT IS NOW RARE

- The tortoise said that the hare would not be able to sleep in the middle of the race anymore because there are much bigger sporting crowds these days. ... In an increasingly fast-paced world, they are more distinguished because of their slow motion.
