➠Land revenue -The introduction of the new land revenue as well as the taxes were very high and they were made to be paid in terms of cash which created a deep resentment among the common people of Assam.

➠Spread of epidemics -prior the outbreak of the rebellion the upper Assam had to suffer a lot due ti cholera and mealses. Several village were wiped out due to the wide spread of the desease but the people of Assam never git any help from the British government.

➠Patheotic conditions of the parents-In some areas of kamrup and nowgaon the condition were such that apart from selling family vaulables parents were compelled to sell their own children for a handful of grains.

➠Aboilation of salvery-The Aboilation of salvery serve a great blow to the assam aristocrate , they lose all their social power and ranks. they were compelled to do their own manual work.
