Our country, India became independent on the year 1947. At that, there used to be many social issues. It sad because most of them haven't been solved yet. Instead of being solved, new problems emerged. Some of them are,

1; Gender discrimination (mostly females):

Compared to those days, It was decreased. But, still in some places, women are being discriminated.

2; Sexual Harassments (mostly on women):

Many people tried to solve this, Many laws were passed, But none of them able to stop this.

3; Caste & Religion:

Still, people in our counry discriminate others in the name of religion and Caste.

4; Child foeticide: a topic which doesn't need any introduction.

5; Corruption.

Hope this answer helps you. :-)
