As compare to Vernier calipers, screw gauge is more precise because the least count of Vernier calipers is 0.1 mm and for screw gauge it is 0.01 mm. So, a screw gauge can measure more precisely than a Vernier caliper.

Answer:

yes because,

Explanation:

in a venier calliper the measurement takes place in millimetres as well as in centimetres(least count 0.01 mm) whereas in micrometer screw guage the measurement takes place even in micrometers(least count 0.01 mm) so it reduces the possibility of errors but a venier calliper is better use as it can be used for measuring a suitable length lie if an object is in cm it's easier to measure even though it has errors
