Yes, giving attention we learn something and in time of need we use that knowledge as our solution also. And if we are watching or listening something that will motivate us then when there are no one to help us and we are helpless, this motivation will come to our mind. If we don't pay attention then the motivation will not come.

So attention is motivational.
