Explain the statement " solinoid has polarity at its end."

I'm a class 10 student, so plz. explain accordingly.

Answer:

End rule is used to determine the polarity of the solenoid. Considering on ends of the solenoid,if the circular face of the current flows in the anticlockwise direction, the that end becomes the N pole and if the current flows in the clockwise direction,then that end becomes the S pole.

This statement means that if a current is passed in a solenoid then it behaves as a bar magnet, like a bar magnet has one North pole and one South pole orienting toward geographical North pole and geographical South pole respectively. In the solenoid magnetic line force will orient in such a way that the part where current is flowing in clockwise direction South pole will generate and vise versa . Thus solenoid has its two pole at its farthest end representing a bar magnet.
