___________
STOMATA.
IN THE CATUS PLANT
》 Leaf surfaces are dotted with pores called stomata.
》 The stomata are bordered by guard cells.
》 Transpiration occurs through stomata applications, and can be considered as an essential "cost" associated with the opening of the stomata, which can cause carbon dioxide gas to dissolve from the air for photosynthesis.
》 They open their stomata only during night when temperature is too low and a large amount of water is saved compared to other plants which open there stomata during day.
》》 Stomata opening is very important in photosynthesis so they have a modified version of Photosynthesis too (CAM; Crassulasian Acid Metabolism).
