ANSWER:
The structural peculiarities of small intestine that facilitates absorption is almost the last stage of digestion process. It is site for the food absorption. There are various villi and micro villi present in the intestine. They help in absorbing the useful nutrients present in the food.
EXPLANATION:
The small intestine has very long pass way in the stomach. The food goes through it. While passing the nutrients present in the food are absorbed through the finger like projection present in the inner side of the intestine called as villi or microvilli.
Length is related to the food habits of the organism as the absorption of nutrients is depended on it. If the length is small the nutrients cannot be absorbed.
