Blood is a fluid tissue . It is a type of connective tissue . The blood cells are loosely spaced and embedded in a fluid matrix. In the plasma Red Blood Cells, White Blood Cells and Platelets are Suspended. Blood flows and transports gases, digested food, hormones and waste materials to different parts of the body.
