neuron is the mail thing which is used for the sensing part. It is the functional unit of the nearv system. There are two types of neurons system. They are Central Nervous System and Pheripharanal Nervous System. C N S contains Brain and spine cord .We can see them PNS in all over the body. And there are two types of neurons they are afferent and efferent nerves.
afferent nerves also called as sensory nerves, they send information from sensory organs to the brain. efferent nerves are called as motor nerve which sends the information from the brain to the sensory organs of the body.
Hope that this answer may helpful for toy ,If it is then plz......,make it as a brainlist answer.

Structure of Neurons
Cell Body - contains nucleus and organelles
Dendrites - receive input
Axon - conducts impulses away from the cell body
Axon hillock - an enlarged region where an axon attaches to the cell body
Synaptic terminal - Neurotransmitters are manufactured in the cell body but released from synaptic terminals. The neurotransmitters stimulate other neurons.
Synapse - A synapse is the junction between the synaptic terminal and another cell. The other cell is called a postsynaptic cell.
