Fluid connective tissue those group of cells which make connections between different organs, thus tissues by there fluid matrix. The connections are mostly meant for supplying nutrients, gases (O2 andCO2) essential for the cells for their living. The fluid connective tissue is mainly blood and lymph.

Its in the most microscopic level in capillary beds where exchange of the above stuffs occur between the vessel blood and interstitium. Then from the interstitium, cells get those things they need into there intracellular fluid.

Its the ECF that connects fluid connective tissue to other tissues.
