Explain the structure of graphite in terms of bonding and give one property based on this structure.

it is sp^2 hybridized.and thus each carbon atom is bonded to three other carbon atom to make a hexagon like st.these layers r connected by Vander waal forces....due sp^2 hybridization there is a presence of 1 free electron and due to free electron it conduct electricity....
