Structure of the eye:

  • The eyeball is generally circular in shape and also has a width of around 2.3 cm. It is made up of a strong membrane is called the sclera, that protects the eye's structural features.
  • As light rays passed through the opening in the center of the iris, and cornea's transparent layer twisted them. The changed light passes through the lens of the eye.
  • The natural shape of the lens of the eye is convex. As a result, the light rays from the objects converge, forming a genuine and inverted image on the retina.
  • The retina then sends the received inverted and true images to the brain using optical nerves. Finally, it registers as an erect image in the brain.
