hey!!

____________

✯ structure of nucleus:

=> nucleus has got an envelope in which inner and outer membrane is present.
=> the space between inner and outer membrane is called perinuclear space.
=> the envelope has also got numerous pores for movement of RNA and ribosomes in and out of nucleus.
=> inside nucleus is nucleoplasm in which chromatin fibres and nucleolus are suspended.
=> chromatin fibres are in uncondensed form and only condense when cell divsion happens.
=> the nucleolus is non-membrane bound structure and helps in production of RNA and ribosomes.

✯ major functions:

=> controls the activities of organelles of cell.
=> helps in synthesis of RNA and ribosomes.
=> it is responsible for providing genetic informaton to daughter cells.
=> it also plays a major role in metabolism and growth.
