Symbiosis: Symbiosis is a type of interaction between two different organisms in which both the organisms gets advantage from each other.
For example, In the roots of some higher trees a bacteria called nitrogen fixing bacteria is present which fixes atmospheric nitrogen for the tree that is required for its normal growth and development while the tree gives shelter and food to that nitrogen fixing bacteria.

Ex :- mycorrhiza it is a symbiotic association between Cyanobacteria and roots of higher plants in which the Cyanobacteria helps in nitrogen fixation to plants and roots of plants provide shelter to this Cyanobacteria this way both are mutually benefited.
