in this system a king should own the British soldiers and he should give him more payment than that of the Indian soldiers. the British would keep a secret officer who would give all the information about the king for example the information about the King's enemy. the more important thing here is that when the king failed to pay the British soldiers the payments, the part of the kingdom would be taken as a penalty. like this Britishers introduced many systems like doctrine of lapse and permanent settlements. but the main aim of Britishers was to acquire the Indian land.
