Nobel prize winner & India’s one of great literature guru Ravindra Nath Tagore didn’t like the education system of British people & it was also  too far from his village . Nearest school was around 100 Km away from his house. So he decided to build his own school there only. Hence he create a Abode of Peace (Saanti Niketan ) Where Teacher & student learns the new thing about everything under sky in imaginative & practical manner .He always believed in the natural curiosity of children & where teacher can help to make it possible in real life.

Answer:

Tagore’s Shantmiketan was established in a rural setting, 100 kilometres away from Calcutta. As it was far from the din and bustle of the city it was an abode of peace.
