The chemical process by which new chemical substances are formed as a result of chemical transformation between chemical substances is defined as chemical reaction. (1) Reactants are those substances which takes part in chemical reaction. they are placed on the left hand side of chemical equation. (2) Products are those substances which are formed as a result of chemical reaction. They are placed on the right hand side of chemical equation.
