Disguised unemployment occurs when part of the labour force is either left without jobs or operates redundantly, such as the productivity of the workforce is effectively zero. An economy shows hidden unemployment when productivity is poor, and too many workers also occupy few jobs.
A government can solve the issue of hidden/disguised unemployment by:
(i) Creating more opportunities.
(ii) Offering proper employment packages.
(iii) Developing agricultural sector.
(iv) removal of the extra workers that will not impact the output of production.

In disguise unemployment people appear to be employed this usually happens among family members who are all engaged in agricultural activities the work may require the service of five people but engages eight people if these three people are removed the worker productivity of the field won’t be affected or decline says the field requires the service of only five people the extra three people are disguised unemployed
