Gondwana or Gondwanaland was a supercontinent that existed from the Neoproterozoic until the Jurassic. Gondwana is not considered a supercontinent under the first definition, since the landmasses of Baltica, Laurentia and Siberia were separate at the time. It was formed by the accretion of several cratons.
