Explain the term Hyphenation in word

Hyphenation is defined as a part of the word processor used to split a word that would otherwise extend beyond the right margin. This function is not supported by most of the processors and if it does it might not be performed correctly.

The word processor uses two techniques which can be explained as the first where it employs an internal dictionary of words which show where hyphens should be inserted which is regarded to the most accurate though it is a slow process. The second one uses logical formulas to make hyphenation decisions.
