Isomers are molecules that have the same molecular formula, but have a different arrangement of the atoms in space. That excludes any different arrangements which are simply due to the molecule rotating as a whole, or rotating about particular bonds. Forexample, both of the following are the same molecule.

Isomers:- A compound that exists in forms having different arrangements of atoms but the same molecular weight.
Example- Pentane, 2-methylbutane, and 2,2-dimethylpropane are structural isomers of each other.
