Amplitude-The maximum displacement of a vibrating body on either side of its mean postion is called its amplitude of vibration

it is denoted by letter a or A
it is measured in metre


Frequency-The number of complete vibrations made by a vibrating body in one second is called its frequency

it is denoted by n or f
si unit of frequency is hertz(Hz)
f=1/time period(T)
