Thecodont is the embedded in socket and have well developed roots and it is present in mammals and crocodiles..

We have a set of temporary teeth which are replaced by set of permanent teeth...

Such type of dentition is diphyodont

A) Thecodont: It is a condition in which teeth are embedded in socket of jaw bone.

B) Diphyodont: Milk teeth are replaced by permanent teeth in adults. Two sets of teeth arise during lifetime in human beings.
