The term Oxytocin is a hormone released by pituitary gland.
- This hormone stimulates the contraction of uterine muscles,including labor pains for child birth , when secretion of progesterone hormone from the placenta declines,marking the end of pregnancy.
- Oxytocin hormone increase the affection for children and passion and pleasure during coitus.
