*in hydra, if the body is cut into half, the lower part will develop head while the upper part will develop a new foot.

Regenration is an accidental process.In this, the organism is eithet broken or cutt into peices due to some accident.then , each peice is developed into a new organism.In hydra,due to some accident it first breaks into many peices ,then each of thies peice starts dividing and finaly developed into a new organism.
