the British decide to dispense justice through a number of civil and criminal courts in 1865 the high Court were established at Calcutta Madras and Bombay
in India the British introduced the modern concept of rule of law the mean that their administration was carried out according to the laws which we find the right and duties of the people and according to the Vin and the facilities of brothers authorities the brothers in also introduced the concept of equality before law that means that all the people are equal before the law in scripted of their caste region class language and gender
but equality before law was not always practiced the Europeans had separate Court even laws in criminal case they could be tried only by Europeans jaj moreover justice became expensive due to the court fees lawyers fees and expenses of witness Court were often sutent in distant town case guard on for years the complicated laws were beyond the grasp of ignorant and illiterate people that which could turn and twist the law in the favour
