A Trojan horse is a common type of worm that is a virus, disguised as a useful software. Once a Trojan horse is active on your computer, it starts acting like a virus causing damage to the computer's data.

A Trojan horse entres to a computer system because a user installs it under the wrong impression that is a useful and harmless program. When a Torgan horse is activated, it typically changes existing desktop icons or creates new ones.

It may also delete important system files. Its main aim, however, is to steal sensitive information stored on the infected computer.
