a] Sublimation
b] Periodic change c] Desirable change
Answers
Answer:
1-When anything solid turns into a gas without first becoming liquid, that’s sublimation. When the surface layer of snow or ice turns into fog or steam without melting, this is an example of sublimation.
2-Periodic changes are changes which occur periodically or at regular intervals Example: Change of seasons. Day and night, changing phases of the moon, beating of heart, clock striking an hour are all examples of periodic motion whereas water becoming ice, burning of matchstick etc are non periodic changes.
3-Desirable Changes: Changes that are desired to occur (i.e. we want them to take place) are known as desirable changes. These changes produce good results. Examples: Rain bringing water to the crops results in the germination of seeds, change of milk to curd, the ripening of fruits, growth of a seedling into a plant.
