endocytosis= The flexibility of cell membrane enables a cell to engulf food and other material from its external environment. Such processes are known as endocytosis .Amoeba acquires its food through such processes.

Plasmolysis= When a living plant cell loses water through Osmosis there is shrinkage or contraction of the contents of the cell away from cell wall. This phenomenon is known as plasmolysis.

Endocytosis is a type of active transport that moves particles, such as large molecules, parts of cells, and even whole cells, into a cell.

Plasmolysis is the process where a cell's contents shrink away from the cell wall when placed in a hypertonic solution.
