Explain the terms 'Interconversion of matter' . With reference to ice, water & water vapour show diagrammatically the change of state of matter from solid to liquid to gaseous & back to its original state. please help​

(a) Conversion of a solid into a liquid on heating is called melting.

e.g. ice to water.

(b) Conversion of a liquid into vapors (of gas) on heating is called vaporization.

e.g. water to water vapor. 

(c)  Conversion of vapor (or gas) into a liquid on cooling is called condensation.

e.g. water vapor to water. 

(d) Conversion of a liquid into a solid is called freezing or solidification.
