Explain the theme of poem Television. Compare the leisure activities of children in past and now.Is there a balance btwn watching tv and reading books. plz fast..... plzzzzz

The poet is trying to say that nowadays children are too much into television. They keep watching and staring at the screen which is making them dull. It says, too much television is not good, and we should spend sometime in other activities as well. The children don't do any work and are addicted to television. The poet says that the child should read the books he has. He says that the child has all sorts of books and just needs to read  and get some information.Children should read books that they have.

The theme of television poem, poem has give the positive message of child and it is one that encourages children to road. Reading is something that helps children concrete without necessarily breaking the mind in a way. It is the allow children use their imagination and have just as much fun.
A kid doing lots of reading actually helped me in term of writing.
