Theory of evolution explains the origin of life and different species on Earth . According to this theory, billions of years ago a group of chemicals organized themselves in such a way that they give rise to a tiny self-replicating molecule. After that this tiny molecule gave rise to everything that has ever lived or living on the planet.

More to know :-

First: A "Scientific Theory" is a proposal on how something works that is examined by detailed observations, experiments, research and peer review. This procedure determines if the theory describes the "best fit" conclusions relating the proposal to the real world. It is not like the "theory" offered by the investigator in a detective novel where the word is used to describe an initial guess.

In its most basic form, evolution is genetic change within a population - specifically, changes in the allelic frequencies of said population. Like gravity, this is an easily observed fact, having been observed in history and replicated today; evolution is both a fact and a theory. Genetic drift, natural selection, mutation, and migration-these are the basic mechanisms of evolution.

Evolutionary thought can be traced back to classic Greece, but it is most commonly associated with Charles Darwin. Darwin only described one of the mechanisms that now are known to guide evolution: Natural Selection. He also put forward his idea that all the species have originated from a common ancestor and changed over time to the present situation. But it is important to note that evolutionary theory was not unique to Darwin; he simply put together puzzle pieces that others gathered throughout history.
