(ii) He organised Satyagraha to secure them entry into temples, and access to public wells, tanks, roads and schools.
(iii) He signed Poona Pact with Dr. B.R. Ambedkar through which some seats were reserved for them in provincial and central legislative councils.

The three efforts made by Gandhiji to get Harijans their right are as follows:-
1. He lived with them and condemned untouchability.
2. he did their work as sweepers for showing no work is small or big.
3. he launched Satyagraha to ensure them for entry in temples and using wells, tanks etc..
