ANSWER

The Three main sections of the brain are the Cerebrum, Cerebellum, and Brainstem. Each of these parts does many things, and each affects what the other parts do. THere is also a region called the midbrain, which does not seem to be described as actually part of these three divisions. Each of these 3 or 4 parts has many functions, The usual division of labor is the cerebrum is involved in storing data (Memories) and Executive function (Decisions) The Cerebellum controls movement, and the brainstem connects all of this and keeps the involuntary parts running…, but the brain is flexible, and different parts can do different things. For example, there have been 9 recorded cases of people living without actually having a cerebellum.

The Midbrain, has a variety of parts including the thalamus, hypothalamus, and Pituitary gland.

just one of these, the Hypothalamus, performs at least 30 functions
