Explanation:

Oxidation of glucose involves breaking down of a 6 carbon molecule into a 3 carbon molecule called pyruvate. Further decomposition takes place in the following ways:

1.Aerobic respiration:In aerobic respiration, pyruvate is completely broken down using oxygen inhaled during breating to form carbon dioxide and water.

2.Anaerobic respiration: In anaerobic respiration, pyruvate is incompletely broken down by micro organisms like yeast in the absence of oxygen to form carbon dioxide and ethanol.

3.Respiration in lack of oxygen: Due to lack of oxygen, in muscle cells pyruvate is convertedl into another 3 carbon molecule called lactic acid.

If it helps then do mark it as brainliest.
