Answer:
- the whole story is based on chief seattle's speech. chief seattle narrates the speech to his red indians. in the speech he conveys his emotions when he was notified that the big cheif or george washington wants to nuy the red indian's land. the americans are like the grass that covers vast priaries whereas the red indians are like the scattlerings of a storm swept plain. he finds it very disrespected when re realizes that the red indian no longer has any rights and respect. the red indians are like a rapidly receeding tide which will probably never return. the big chief in washington says that the red indians and the americans are like brothers but chief seattle thinks that if they were brothers then why is it that they dont have the same god. in case they do he is partial for he returned to his paleface childeren and forasked the red indians. seattle compares himself and the red indians to orphans who have nowhere to look for help. the great spirit which used to awaken the red indians in the dreams seems to forsaken them too. chief seattle thereby ends his speech by saying that tho the red indians are the ones who will be leaving this, the whites wont be a ble to survive for long. this justification proves that the title is appropriate.
