The concept involves four categories including safety, choice, information, and the right to be heard. The first declaration of consumer rights was established in the US in 1962. Consumer activist Ralph Nader Is referred as the father of the consumer movement. In other words we can say that, Consumer awareness, which refers to a buyer's knowledge of a particular product or company, allows the buyer to get the most from their purchases. Consumers can make well-informed choices about what to buy and how much to spend when they have product information. Consumers benefit from knowing their rights and reviewing alerts and warnings.
