The Treat Of Vienna was convened in 1815 by the four European powers which had defeated Napoleon. The first goal was to establish a new balance of power in Europe which would prevent imperialism within Europe, such as Napoleonic empire, and maintain the peace between the great powers.

Provisions of Treaty of Vienna :

(1) Bourbon dynasty was restored to power in France.

(2) France lost territories annexed under Napolean

(3) The kingdom of Netherlands was set up in north and Genoa was added to Piedmont in the south.

(4) Prussia given new territories on its western frontier.

(5) Austria was given Northern Italy

(6) Russia was given part of Poland, Prussia was given a part of Saxony.
