Answer:

French colonies:- Caribbean-Martinique,Guadeloupe, and San Domingo. They were the important suppliers of tobacco, Indigo ,sugar and coffee. Due to the shortage of labour on the plantations , they met a triangular slave between Europe ,Americas and Africa. French merchants sailed to African coast and bought the slaves from local chieftains and tightly packed them into the ships for the long voyage . During the voyage, if any of the slaves dies due to suffocation they were thrown into the sea. Inhuman behavior was practiced in slave trade. Europe became more prosperous by this and started dealing demands of products. In 1794 , French legislated to free all the slaves. But later it was reintroduced by Napoleon Bonaparte in 1804. Slavery was finally abolished in French colonies in 1848. Abolition of slavery was the most important Revolutionary social reform of the Jacobin regime.
