The pressure exerted by a liquid is given as

P = hρg

where h is the depth, so more deep we are more pressure we will experience. For example, consider the water pressure experienced by the divers, they have to wear protective clothing.

ρ is the density of the liquid. Denser liquids exert more pressure. For example, consider the same diver as above but now he's in a denser liquid, lets say oil. He would experience more pressure at the same depth in both liquids.

and g is the acceleration due to gravity.
