Every part of the universe is in constant motion, even though we do not always notice. In the smallest units of matter, the subatomic particles within the atom are whipping about at incredible speeds. Expand outward and we find that even something as large as a galaxy moves through the space of the universe while all its component stars and planets move about within it.
