Two movements of the earth are Rotation and Revolution. The rotation causes day and night. It takes 24 hours to complete one rotation. Revolution causes change in seasons. It takes 365 days 6 hours to complete one rotation. The rotation of the earth an it's axis and it's revolution around the sun is responsible for many events such as day and night, changes in seasons etc. We plan our activities accordingly.
